My favorite teacher was my college glee club director. He was the most demanding, the most knowledgeable, and the most inspiring teacher I've ever had. I learned more about music from him than I had in pretty much all of my music experience/education before that. If it wasn't for him, I would be working for some aerospace company right now and not realizing my true dream of becoming a teacher.
Were there times when you felt like you were at a dead end with the students? What did you do about it?
